Our favorite places in Weggis and surrounding areas 💛

HYG Restaurant & Bar – Weggis

Our sister company is only a 3-minute walk from the Guesthouse. We opened it in September 2020. You can have a fantastic meal there, enjoy an aperitif, a piece of homemade cake and a cup of outrageously good coffee. Relax in the lounge. Celebrate your birthday or simply your well-deserved vacation. 

Hygge – enjoy the beautiful sides of life. 

Tip: For children there is a children’s menu and a children’s box with toys. 

Tip no. 2: There is also a vegan menu.

Caf̩ Vienna РWeggis

A nice walk along the lake should be rewarded. About 30 minutes’ walk form the Guesthouse. 

There are Austrian delicacies, bistro/café, self-service. 

Tip: Open during the day until 5PM.

Farm caf̩ of Haldihof РWeggis

The Haldihof is a cute organic farm just outside Weggis with a fantastic view, a small self-service café (with homemade cake) and the most adorable alpacas.

Tip: The farm shop has a wide range of different products such as brandies, fruit spreads, teas, soaps etc. A feast for the eyes! 

Breakfast  im MILL’FEUILLE – Lucerne

The Mill’feuille ensures a successful start to the day. Lively coffee culture, breakfast until 12PM and on weekends even until 6PM. That’s the spirit! 

Tip: When the weather is nice, breakfast on the terrace in the sun. When the weather is bad enjoy the view over the river from their winter garden. 

Storchen Weinbar in Luzern

Aperitif in the Storchen Winebar – Lucerne

Our favorite place for a tasteful aperitif in Lucerne is the Storchen wine bar. There are homemade tapas and of course great wine. 

Tip: Stop in for a glass of cava. Or maybe two!
