Private rooms All rooms are private and are not shared with other guests. There are some rooms with shared bathrooms. The kitchen and lounge are also shared spaces.
Arrival and departure Check-in: from 3PM
Check-out: till 11AM
Presence times We are at the Guesthouse every day from 8AM till 4:30PM. We can then be reached by telephone in urgent cases.
Arrival after 4:30PM We will be at the Guesthouse until 4:30PM. If you arrive later, there will be a simple Self Check-in Machine in front of the Guesthouse entrance. Kindly note that following information are required to do the check in: reservation name and confirmation number. After completing the check in process including payment, you will receive the room key, which also works for the main entrance door.
We are back at the Guesthouse from 8AM in the morning. Please pass by our office if you have any questions about your stay or the surrounding area. We’re happy to be here for you!
Departure before 8AM You can also leave before 8AM. You can leave the room key at the room door.
Cancellation For standard rates: You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival (until 3PM the day before your arrival). If you cancel later, the first night will be charged.
For Non-Refundable rates: payment is due upon booking and non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Tourism taxes The tourist tax is not included in the room rate and applies per day and per person, for children aged 12 and over.
Summer tax: April 1st to October 15th, CHF 4.20 per person and night.
Winter tax: October 16th to March 31st, CHF 2.70 per person and night.
Payment options Cash, all common credit cards, EC cards as well as Postcard and Twint are accepted.
Direct booking When you reserve via our website or directly through email, you benefit from the best prices. The reason for this is: we pay commission for every booking made via platforms such as Booking.com or Airbnb. When you book directly, you as a guest save money and we as a hotel would rather pass on the discount to our guests than the platforms.
Dogs Dogs are welcome at the Guesthouse. We charge an additional charge of CHF 10.00 per night. To use the common areas such as the communal kitchen and lounge, we ask that you leave your four-legged friend in the room.
Parking spaces
We have 7 parking spaces directly in front of the Guesthouse. A parking spot can be booked when making the reservation and costs CHF 8.00 per night. As an alternative, there is public parking and a parking garage (Parkhaus See) 3 minutes’ walk from the Guesthouse. The price for public parking is also CHF 8.00 per night.
Public transport Closest bus stop: Weggis Neubüel – 180m, 2 minutes’ walk
Closest boat station: Weggis boat station – 800m, 10 minutes’ walk
If you have heavy luggage with you, we recommend talking the bus to Neubüel. You can find further information on our page getting here.
Breakfast We do not offer breakfast at the Guesthouse. Café Dahinden and Tschummi bakery are just a few minutes’ walk from the Guesthouse and offer breakfast on Sundays and public holidays. We have two fully equipped communal kitchens with coffee machine, kettle and a selection of Nespresso capsules and tea bags at the Guesthouse.
